The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

This guide is one of the most comprehensive databases of everything in the universe. (Really? Among billions of stars and trillions of things to write about, an entry for earth has just one word - ‘harmless’!!! Anyway…). The tale by Douglas Adams has been a beacon to all the grail seekers since the big bang. Among the many forms of its existence, one is a BBC program series that I happened to lay my bio-organic hands on. Stay with me on this journey of the universe and let me give you a lift… albeit vicariously :)

The Plot:
Arthur Dent wakes up one morning to find the authorities at his doorstep, ready to knock down his house with a bulldozer. Troubles had just begun brewing when his close friend Ford Prefect announced the end of the world. An expressway construction across the universe was in progress and our dear Earth just happened to come in its way. Just before earth was blown away, Ford manages to get a hitch on the Vogan Spaceship. Arthur was now homeless, planet-less and with a friend who was an Alien! But he had the best defense against anything in this world…a towel.
