Is it possible to be 'hot' without being 'sexy'?
Sounds like a Carrie Bradshaw question, doesn't it? This blog is inspired by the cover photo of Esha. Also, reinforced by my acquired knowledge that getting in shape could be such a tortuous endeavor.

Discussion on women's shapes would require full-fledged PhD thesis to do the topic any credible justice. I just wish to bring out my views of being 'hot'. There are certain characteristics that define hot and another set to describe sexy. Take Esha's picture for instance. It exudes an aura of being naughty without the distaste of exposing. So, what defines hot?

Lets start with the hair. Soft looks, totally straight without any entangles. Shades of the eyes and darker.

The lips are very natural. Nude colors spread the focus on the entire face and not attract it towards the lips. It shows balance and symmetry between what is shown and what is left out.

I wanted to include the 'smile' with lips, but then decided that such an important facet deserves a place of its own. A smile can tilt the whole picture one way or the other - from serene beauty to lasciviousness. Here its just perfect and blends with the shades of the lips.

The choice of colors gives warmth to the picture. The VIBGY colors of the spectrum are cool and calming, while OR and its variants are warm. Also the former give a picture a 'hot' image and the later 'sexy'.

Texture of the fabric gives the final touch. Free flowing and un-embroidered generally give a soothing feel.

The most important feature of the picture is, of course, the abs. Well worked out, with clear definition. I estimate that the body-fat ratio of Esha must be less than 5%. That gives her that athletic look and radiant skin. This quality is also evident from her cheeks - the area where its very difficult to reduce fat from (remember Kareena?).

And the most important of them all, the "eyes". Clear, focused, penetrating, looking-ahead and unafraid of carrying off the image. The eyes tell all. One look, just one look, can last a lifetime. Reflection of the personality and precursor of things to come. The eyes.
